Activities
The centre’s activities are divided into internal research formats (colloquiums, workshops), public events (lectures, conferences), and formats aimed at students and early-career researchers (courses of study, lecture series). The colloquiums are a platform for the participating academics (in particular, the fellows researching at the centre) to present their projects. The workshops allow participants to discuss individual topics and subjects in detail with a small number of guests. The lectures, some of which take place at the Warburg-Haus, and the international and interdisciplinary conferences are aimed at a broader audience. We present the centre’s research questions and results to a larger group of students in our lecture series. The course of study is a summer school for early career researchers who are currently completing their master’s degree or have just started a doctoral program. It is intended to foster active intellectual exchange between the spheres of research and teaching.
