This workshop on the topic of »Zeugungskraft« (procreativity) explores biological, cultural, and aesthetic conceptions of procreation from the 18th to the 20th century. Invited speakers are Wolfgang Hottner (Berlin), Joela Jacobs (Tucson), Staffan Müller-Wille (Exeter) and Sebastian Schönbeck (Frankfurt/Oder).
