In the context of the lecture series »Dunkle Kräfte. Reflexionen einer diffusen Größe in Literatur und Kunst«, Prof. Dr. Ute Berns will speak on the topic »Die Dampfkraft im Kräftefeld des britischen Industrieromans: Elisabeth Gaskells ‚North and South‘«. The lectures will take place live via Zoom on Thursdays from 4:15 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. between November 12, 2020 and February 18, 2021. All lectures are held in German.
