Farewell: Dominik Hünniger

We are bidding farewell to our Research Associate Dr. Dominik Hünniger, who joined the German Port Museum as Research Associate for Innovation Research on August 1, 2023. At the CAS, he has been researching on »Life Forces and the Œconomy of Nature in Scientific Entomology around 1800«. We would like to thank him for his profound work, our inspired conversations, and diverse suggestions, such as on the conference »Perceiving Forces«, the workshops »The Power of Procreation (18th-20th Centuries)« and »The Imaginaria and Realia of Making Knowledge - the Power of Collections in the Early Modern World and Today« , as well as the exhibition »The Whole of Nature - Forces, Orders, Boundaries« and the seminar »Nature in the Diagram: Forces, Order, Wholeness« , which preceded the exhibition and was recently awarded with the Hamburg Teaching Prize 2023. We are pleased that Dominik Hünniger will remain an associate member of our Centre for Advanced Studies and wish him all the best for his new position!
