New Fellow in the Winter Term: Christine Göttler

We welcome our new fellow Prof. em. Dr. Christine Göttler at the CAS »Imaginaria of Force«. Christine Göttler is is Professor Emerita of Art History at the University of Bern. Her current research interests focus on collecting practices and collection spaces, the intersections between art, natural philosophy, and religious imagination, the relationship between landscape and nature, and early modern notions of materiality and immateriality in art. During her research stay in Hamburg from October to December 2023 , she will investigate the topic »Rubens's end-of-time scenarios«.
