Announcement: 23.10.2024 Poetry Debate with Carla Cerda and Cornelia Zumbusch: Ökologie trifft Technologie. Was kommt nach dem Naturgedicht?

In the series Poetry Debates IV »Lyrik nach der Natur«, Carla Gerda and Cornelia Zumbusch discuss whether the nature poem is traditionally a genre of nature worship or of mourning the loss of once-harmonious natural conditions, and how new poetic responses to the immense ecological challenges of the ongoing climate catastrophe are currently emerging. These often include reflections on technology and the staging of the hyper-networked present. At the focus of the discussion will be the intertwining of technology and ecology in contemporary poetry, and the question of what poetry can and should achieve after 'nature'.
