New Fellow in the Winter Term: Johanne Gormsen Schmidt

We welcome our new fellow Dr. Johanne Gormsen Schmidt at the CAS »Imaginaria of Force«. Johanne Gormsen Schmidt is a literary scholar. Her research focuses on contemporary Nordic literature, modernism, ecocriticism, literature and theology, and literary sociology – particularly reading cultures, the publishing industry, and translation studies. During her his research stay at the CAS from October 2025 to March 2026, she will investigate the topic »Troubling Animal Forces Across Modernist and Contemporary Literature«.
