New Fellow in the Winter Term: Erhard Schüttpelz

We welcome our new fellow Prof. em. Dr. Erhard Schüttpelz. Erhard Schüttpelz was Professor of Media Theory at the University of Siegen until September 30, 2025. His research focuses particularly on the literary and media history of globalized modernity, as well as the scientific history of media theory and ethnology. During his research stay at the CAS from October 2025 to January 2026, he will investigate the topic »Mana, Wakan, Orenda and other non-European categorizations of force ca. 1900«.
