New Artist in Residence in the Summer Term: Simone Kessler

We are pleased to welcome Simone Kessler back as Artist in Residence at the CAS »Imaginaria of Force«. Simone Kessler is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Hamburg who investigates, through creative processes, philosophical questions that interconnect human systems, ecology and science. Her artistic practice is structured in thematic series, in which she constantly incorporates new works — including installations, sculptures, drawings, videos, photographs and object performances. With her works, which are often based on theoretical considerations, she creates subtle, poetic representations of complex natural and physical phenomena that cannot be immediately grasped. During her research stay at the CAS from April to September 2026, she will investigate the topic »Resonant Currents«.
