Lecture as part of the workshop »The Meteorological Body« (May 7/8, 2026, HIAS Institute for Advanced Study)

The workshop investigates the multidimensionality and heterogeneity of the meteorological body in its historical depth and cultural breadth. In her lecture, Prof. Dr. Cornelia Zumbusch explores literary traditions of perceiving temperature and examines the links between literary landscapes and depictions of thermic experiences.
