Henriette Burkhardt has studied Cultural Studies and French at the University of Leipzig, the Université Lumière Lyon II and the Institut d'Études Politiques de Lyon, and Public Policy at the Humboldt-Viadrina School of Governance Berlin, focusing on cultural comparison, cultural exchange and project management. In her Magister-thesis, she dealt with the development of French museums; her Master-thesis was devoted to the conditions of inter-organizational cooperation.
Following her studies, she worked in numerous (inter-)cultural projects in which she was responsible for the coordination of events as well as the supervision of participants, lecturers and speakers. Editing, proofreading and translating texts for online and print media also accompanied her career. Since 2019, she has been part of the coordination team of the CAS "Imaginaria of Force", where she is responsible for the support of guest researchers, the planning and preparation of events and the project website.
