Katharina Kornberger studied German Studies: Language, Literature, and Media at the University of Mannheim, completing her Bachelor's degree with a thesis on concepts of identity in coming-of-age literature as well as on the narrative and figurative depiction of flight and migration in contemporary German literature. After four years of professional experience at DIE ZEIT, she is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in German Literatures at the University of Hamburg. Since February 2026, she has been working as a student assistant of Prof. Dr. Cornelia Zumbusch at the DFG CAS »Imaginaria of Force«.
