Curriculum
Marion Poschmann poetizes the world in all its phenomena. Especially her observations of nature and landscapes provide an important approach to the questions of the CAS "Imaginaria of Force".
She studied German, Philosophy and Slavic Studies at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the Freie Universität Berlin as well as Scenic Writing at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin. Since her debut with Baden bei Gewitter in 2002, she has published several novels and poetry collections.
Her work has been awarded with numerous prestigious prizes, most recently with the "WORTMELDUNGEN-Literaturpreis 2021". For her novel "Die Kieferninseln" (2017), she received the "Klopstock-Preis für neue Literatur 2018" as well as nominations for the "Shortlist des Deutschen Buchpreises 2017" and the "Man Booker International Prize 2019". Her poetry collection "Nimbus" (2020) was awarded the Wiesbaden Poetry Prize "Orphil 2020", the "Hölty-Preis 2020" and the "Literaturpreis der Stadt Bremen 2021".
