The energy transition is of central importance to the future of our planet and involves an immense transformation of the (cultural) landscape. A constructive debate on the future of the landscape must recognize both the urgency of the energy transition and the importance of protecting the landscape. How this can be achieved is the central question of the planned workshop. We want to use interactive methods to engage in an exchange with students and researchers from the fields of urban and landscape planning, social and political sciences, natural sciences and the humanities, as well as with political and civic actors about the personal and social demands on (energy) landscapes.
